How can we help?
Find clear answers about subscriptions, iCloud sync, sharing, backup, languages and country rule packs.
Quick answers
Choose a topic to view the recommended checks without sending your private rental records.
My Professional subscription is not activating. What should I do?
In the app, open the Plans screen and select Restore Purchases. Confirm that the Apple Account used for the purchase is active on the device and that the device is online. Allow StoreKit a short time to refresh, then reopen the app. Do not purchase the same plan again. If the entitlement still does not appear, contact support with the device model, operating system version, app version and the exact message shown; do not attach contracts, backups or personal rental records.
What happens to my data if I downgrade to the Free plan?
Your portfolio data is not deleted because of a plan downgrade. Records above the Free plan limits remain protected in the background and premium actions become unavailable. When Apple confirms an eligible Individual or Professional subscription again, the app reevaluates the entitlement and the eligible portfolios and records become available automatically.
How do portfolio sharing and invitation removal work?
Portfolio sharing is available to an eligible Professional subscriber and uses Apple CloudKit sharing. The owner controls invitations and permissions. When access is removed or sharing is stopped, new changes no longer synchronize for the removed participant. CloudKit may need a short time to propagate the change; run a manual sync or reopen the app. A stale local card should disappear after the removal is received.
Why can iCloud synchronization take time?
The app starts synchronization at supported moments such as opening the app and after relevant changes. Apple CloudKit and the network can introduce a delay. An open editing form is protected so a refresh does not erase unsaved input. Wait for the automatic operation to finish before starting a manual sync, then check that both devices use the intended Apple Account and that iCloud Drive is available.
What happens when I import an old backup?
Before import, the app creates a local pre-import safety backup of the current data. User-created JSON backups do not grant subscription rights and do not replace the current Apple identity or CloudKit permissions. If import fails, existing data is restored. After a successful import, synchronization follows the current portfolio, entitlement and CloudKit rules.
How are the app language and country rule pack selected?
On first launch, the app chooses a supported language from the device preferences and otherwise uses English. You can change the language in Settings. The country rule pack is selected separately for each portfolio. An empty portfolio can change its country pack; a portfolio containing records keeps its pack to protect rule consistency.
Where are my records stored?
Records are stored in the local database on your device. When iCloud sync is available and enabled, the relevant records are processed in Apple CloudKit. Private CloudKit records cannot be viewed by the developer.
How do I restore a deleted record?
Supported deletions move records to Trash for 30 days. During this period you can restore them or permanently delete them. Portfolio sharing removal and Apple subscription changes are separate from Trash.
Does the app support 153 currencies and 41 interface languages?
Yes. You can keep the selected currency with rent, payment and deposit records, and choose one of 41 supported interface languages in Settings. Names, addresses and notes you enter remain exactly as entered and are not translated automatically.
How are rent periods prepared for a past-dated lease?
When a lease is entered for the first time with a past start date and no payment rows exist, the app prepares the periods through the current month so you do not need to create them one by one. Earlier periods are marked paid and the current period remains unpaid. During later use, missing new months are added as unpaid; the lease end date does not stop this automatic monthly tracking.
How does the app confirm a paid plan?
Purchases and restorations are checked through Apple StoreKit. The app changes the active plan only after Apple confirms an eligible subscription product. While a new purchase is still pending or being refreshed, the existing plan and records are preserved.
How do I report a problem safely?
Email support with your device model, operating system version, app version, the steps you followed and the exact error message. Do not send tenant identities, lease documents, payment records, CloudKit snapshots or JSON backups unless support explicitly requests a redacted example.
Still need help?
Send us an email. Please do not attach personal rental records, contracts or JSON backups.
